What is a Pipette?
A plastic pipette is a versatile laboratory tool used for transferring small volumes of liquids with precision. They enable fabricators to measure and dispense liquids accurately, ensuring consistency in mix ratios, they are commonly used for the products Acrifix 190 where you need to measure out how much you are using of the resin to the catalyst or Acri-Bond 105 and adding Additive N for slower cure times. Plastic pipettes are often disposable, reducing the risk of contamination and simplifying cleanup.
Tips
These pipettes are a capacity of 3mL and come in a convenient pack of 10. It is recommended to also use a 100mL Clear Beaker to get accurate mixing results for your fabrication job.
You are able to cut the pipette slightly shorter with a larger opening if you would like to pick up thicker viscosity liquids. However be aware that the pipette will be slightly inaccurate if you cut the tip larger.
You are also able to use these pipettes to applicate adhesives, they are quick and easy to use. However it is recommended to use a syringe applicator or bottle applicator with a blunt needle for higher accuracy and the best results.
