Clear Beaker

$9.00

Our 100mL Clear Beaker is best used for easily transferring solvents, glues and adhesives into one of our applicator bottles.

You can also use them for measuring out two part glues that need special ratios.

They are made from Polypropylene so they are resistant to most solvents and because they are made from plastic you don’t have to be concerned with accidental breakages.

What is a Beaker for?

A Clear Beaker is a widely used laboratory container designed for mixing, measuring, and holding liquids in various professional settings. Made from polypropylene a durable material, plastic clear beakers are lightweight, chemical safe and resistant to breakage. Making them ideal for workshops where safety is a priority.

One of the primary uses of a plastic beaker is for measuring liquid volumes. These beakers have graduated markings on the side, allowing users to accurately gauge the amount of liquid they add or remove. This is important for the products Acrifix 190 where you need to measure out how much you are using of the resin to the catalyst or Acri-Bond 105 and adding Additive N for slower cure times.

Plastic beakers are also versatile tools for mixing solutions. Their wide mouths facilitate easy stirring and pouring, making them suitable for a variety of applications, from simple mixing to preparing more complex solutions.

Tips

We recommend using a clear beaker when transferring solvent from our tins to an applicator bottle.  This is a mess free way to ensure you get all the glue into your applicator bottle.

Because polypropylene does not allow most adhesives to adhere to itself, you can easily clean and reuse it. If stubborn adhesive has stuck to the bottom, add a small amount of Acri-Bond 105 on top to soften the dried adhesive, then use a pick to dislodge it.”
