The aluminium extrusions can be fixed to reception level up to the ceiling (see cover page photo) or fixed safely only to your reception desk as shown on the image below. Acrylic glass is then cut to height ensuring staff protection (usually about 1.9-2.0m from the ground level) and allowing the two-way communication without obstructions. The whole structure is built with integrity and designed as required by OHSAS ISO 18001. No sharp edges exposed, all slots and gaps covered with rubber gaskets and plastic covers. The “handover area” can be supplied with or without sliding doors, to enhance safety of clients and office staff.
ATA UV-A DISINFECTING LIGHT BAR
PROTECTING EXPOSED AREAS
A UV-A Light Bar is provided above the “handover” and other client access areas to improve safety and disinfect all critical spots. The low-voltage powered device is safely wired and connected to a power source below reception area.
The UV-A Light Bar should be positioned above “handover area” to enhance safety of clients and office staff. The UV-A radiation will work over surfaces exposed to bacteria and viruses. Radiated areas will be cleaned over time and will conveniently provide confidence and a feeling of safety to visitors and staff. The low-voltage UV-A device can be left to work overnight, too. The Remote Control can turn the ATA UV-A Light Bar to dynamic mode with “blinking effects” advising clients to approach the receptionist area at their earliest convenience. UV-A frequency used in our disinfection UV Light Bar is not harmful to human eyes or skin but we suggest you take precautions as recommended by the relevant authorities.
EASY MAINTENANCE OF PROTECTION SCREENS
To clean and maintain all acrylic surfaces on our Protection Screens, apply the anti-static cleaner and polisher, Brillianize. Once this is applied, acrylic surfaces remain clean and fingerprint safe for weeks. Using Brillianize with microfibre towels might eliminate 99% of harmful bacteria, microbes and spores without damaging your acrylic displays or furniture.
It is vital to maintain safety for both sides and to have the ability to communicate clearly with clients. Our Protection Screens will help in business flow to reduce tensions and to remove a fear of bacteria and viruses spreading via droplets.

Brillianize is engineered to protect plastic and glass. Brillianize is non-toxic and safe to use on all hard shiny surfaces. Cleaning with microfibre cloths reduces bacteria by 99.0% (UC Davis Health). Studies are made by UC Davis Medical Centre and the California DPR.
