Description
This high-performance primer is engineered to enhance the adhesion of methacrylate (MMA) adhesives and cyanoacrylates on non-porous substrates, including stainless steel, aluminum (anodised and powder-coated), and carbon steel. It effectively cleans, degreases, and activates / etches the surface while forming a corrosion-resistant layer that promotes strong and durable bonds. Ideal for bonding and sealing applications where maximum adhesion and long-term durability are essential.

Instructions
Apply Acri-Bond Surface Adhesion Primer to a cloth and thoroughly wipe the whole surface(s) that need to be bonded. If the joint consists of two metal surfaces, the primer is applied to both surfaces. If the joint involves only one bond between a metal and a more active or easier-to-bond material, only apply the primer to the metal surface.
Let the Surface Adhesion Primer evaporate typically takes about 3-5 minutes for it to have had enough time to evaporate and etch the surface properly. Then apply your chosen Acri-Bond MMA Adhesive or Cyanoacrylate.
Note: Acri-Bond Surface Adhesion Primer only needs to be applied one thoroughly and covering the whole surface being bonded. We have not seen any benefits in adhesion by reapplying multiple times once over is enough.
