Description
When fabricating with clear acrylic in a humid environment it can be a task in itself. Any little mistake like a droplet of adhesive falling onto the face of the acrylic will turn into a white haze. This is due to Acri-Bond 105 taking in moisture from the humid air when it is evaporating – similar to if you blow on a droplet to attempt to dry it. You are able to sand and polish these haze marks out but you can also prevent them from even forming by using Additive Type T for Acri-Bond 105. This additive is designed for tropical climates and will reduce the chance of hazing not completely remove it.
Instructions
Simply mix 3-5% of Additive T in with Acri-Bond 105 and use Acri-Bond 105 as normal through your chosen applicator. It will take some trial and error to get your mixing ratios right we recommend between 3-5% Additive T to Acri-Bond 105 but can be mixed up to around 10% depending on application. There is no right or wrong amount as there are many other variables at play and it will come down to personal preference, technique and environment. We recommend setting up some samples and doing a few test runs to see what works best for your application.

Mixing
Mix Additive T 3-5% with Acri-Bond 105
Warning: Do not put this mixture back into the original container of Acri-Bond 105 as the steel can may potentially rust. A glass or aluminum container for storage of unused Acri-Bond 105 + Additive T is suitable.
