Application

Step 1

Firstly, lay out the contents of the package. Clean the surface with a Acri-Bond Cleaner and let the solvent evaporate.

If they are only light scratches or you are polishing to increase clarity skip to step 3.

Step 2

If you have deeper scratches you must sand the scratches out using the sandpaper supplied, applying a little pressure and working at an angle of 90 degrees. After a short time clean the surface that you are sanding with water and dry. Check whether the scratch is still visible. If it can still be seen, repeat the sanding process until it is no longer visible.

Step 3

Apply the sanded area with Quixx Acrylic Scratch Remover Polish. Apply a little polishing paste to the sanded area.
Now polish the scratched area for 2 to 3 minutes alternating between horizontal and vertical directions and applying strong pressure with the special cloth supplied (alternatively a soft, clean cotton cloth or cotton pad can also be used).  Repeat the application several times for deep scratches.

Step 4

To remove any left over polish residue, simply dampen a cloth all with water and run it over the surfaces that has been treated. The area should be looking good once again. If there is still room for improvement, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
